2008 Annual General Meeting of the Green Party of Ontario
will be hosted in Burlington on June 6th - 8th, 2008.

Location: TraveLodge Hotel, 2020 Lakeshore Rd. (at Brant St.)

Preliminary Agenda (subject to change)

Friday, June 6

* 6pm to 10pm: Registration
* 10pm: Youth Wing 'Twoonie Movie' night cost: $2

Saturday, June 7

* 8am to 10am: Registration
* 9am to 10:15: Welcome, Introductions, President's Report, Leader's Report, Financial (CFO) Report
* 10:15 to 10:30: break
* 10:30 to noon: First review of Constitutional amendments.
* 12:00 to 1:30pm: Lunch with guest speaker/presentation
* 1:30pm to 3:30pm: resume Constitutional amendments
* 3:30pm to 5:00pm: 3 optional tours/activities
* 6:30pm to 10:30pm: Dinner and social event

Optional tours on Saturday afternoon:

* tour of Royal Botanical Gardens - cost $10, tour of Halton Region Waste (landfill) site - and touring its energy from methane plant that feeds Oakville Hydro - cost $5 or,
* a free walking tour of downtown (30 restaurants, pubs and coffee houses, and of course lots of shopping).
* the local public art gallery, the Burlington Art Centre, will be hosting an outdoor Art & Craft Fair in the park adjoining the Travelodge hotel with over 200 exhibitors featuring unique and hand-crafted works, on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

The Saturday night dinner is to feature a 100-mile diet (all food to be sourced from within 100 miles of location). This can be an optional feature - cost $35 per person.

Sunday, June 8

* 8am to 9am: complimentary yoga or tai chi class in Spencer Smith Park (adjacent to Travelodge hotel)
* 9:30am to 11am: Speeches from Deputy Leaders/Regional Reps candidates
* 11am to 12:30pm: resume Constitutional amendments, workshops
* 12:30 to 1:30pm: Lunch with guest speaker
* 1:30pm to 2:00pm: voting
* 2:00pm to 4:00pm: Constitutional amendments, workshops
* 4:00pm: voting results, wrap-up
* 4:30pm Adjournment
