Sub-title: Responding to the converging threat to industrial civilization through community action.
Presenter: Paul Chefurka
Location: McNabb Community Centre, 180 Percy Street at Gladstone
Time: 7pm to 9pm

Topic: This talk will describe the global crisis caused by the interaction of energy depletion, ecological degradation and economic instability. Mr. Chefurka will present the likely effects of these problems, along with a discussion of actions we can take as individuals and community members to secure our children's future.

Bios: Paul Chefurka has spent the last three years researching the issues of Peak Oil, Ecological Disruption and human responses to large-scale crisis. His goal is to give people the knowledge that will help them deal with an increasingly uncertain future.


ACTCity Ottawa is a local, grassroots group seeking to nurture
social conscience and truth beyond the surface.

ACT is a series of evening lecture/discussions provided to help
us all focus and collaborate on social issues that affect us.
