Green Roof Conference    Thu Feb 21, 2008, Toronto, ON

Toronto Botanical Garden will be hosting a conference on Green Roofs on February 21, 2008. This conference is for professional designers, horticulturists, building construction professionals, engineers, urban planners and keen homeowners who want to learn more about the art and science of green roofs from the industry leaders. Topics covered will include design, plants, biodiversity and technical considerations.

The conference will showcase suppliers and professionals in the field of green roof technology, retrofitting and design. Representative from the City of Toronto will be available to show homeowners how to apply for and fill in the appropriate permits. The day will end with a cocktail reception to allow participants to connect with each other and professionals in the field.
