Life Between the Tides (Online)
Thu Feb 25, 2021, Vancouver, BC
Join SPES Environmental Educator Justine Kaseman to explore the bizarre life in Stanley Park’s intertidal zone. Learn about the creatures and algae that call this zone - between low and high tide - home. Observe the adaptations that help them deal with an ever-changing environment, and learn what impacts climate change will have on this special ecosystem. Justine will also discuss some of the conservation efforts that take place in the Park, including SPES’s intertidal surveys. Don’t miss the chance to discover this amazing world hiding between the tides! |
