Soil Health Workshop with the Etobicoke Master Gardeners (free)    Sat Nov 18, 2017, Etobicoke, ON

Join the Etobicoke Master Gardeners (EMG) inside the Humber Arboretum's Centre for Urban Ecology for a free workshop on Soil Health. You’ll learn what soil is made of, how good soil supports plants, and how to test for basic soil types. We'll look at the benefits and basics of composting, along with providing an introduction to mycorrhizae - what it is, its benefits, and how we use it.

You'll learn how to feed your soil, so your soil will feed your plants!

This workshop is part of the Eco-Garden Community Workshop series hosted by the Etobicoke Master Gardeners and Humber Arboretum throughout the year.

When: Saturday November 18, 10 am-12 pm

Where: Humber Arboretum, Centre for Urban Ecology
