Hawk Workshop

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - This workshop has been designed to help you develop your skills in identifying migrating hawks, falcons, vultures, eagles and osprey. Through a wide variety of hands-on activities you'll learn about plumage, body shape, foraging techniques, flight patterns and migration times of 15 species. An information booklet will be provided. Arboretum Naturalist: Chris Earley, author of Hawks and Owls of Eastern North America. Early Bird Fee: $75.00 if done on or before Thursday, August 31. Registrations after this date will cost $85.00. Note: If we don't have enough registrations by the early bird deadline the course may be cancelled. Maximum 18 adults. |
