Stargazing Manitoulin - Dark Sky Preserve    Fri Jul 21 to Sun Jul 23, 2017, Manitoulin Island, ON

Astronomy is one of our favourite activities at Gordonís Park. Over the summer and fall we host a series of events and activities that will give you a chance to learn more about the night sky and explore it in our Dark Sky Preserve. Included in these activities are our star parties. Our star parties are perfect for both amateur and veteran astronomers and we have special event astronomy nights happening during each of our star party weekends for those who want to learn more about the stars.

Stay with us to celebrate Canadian dark skies at our Dark Sky Preserve. Come observe and start crossing those Messier objects off your list. Activities & workshops include a welcome wine & cheese reception, guided public astronomy & laser guided sky tour sessions, nature interpretive centre, Horseshoe Tournament, childrenís playground, wind up campfire & Saturday night pot luck Supper.
