Visions for Canada 2042 - Gala Dinner featuring The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change

As Canada celebrates its sesquicentennial and Carleton University celebrates its 75th Anniversary, Carleton University’s Faculty of Public Affairs is looking forward twenty-five years to the year 2042, when Carleton turns 100. Over two days, March 3-4, 2017, academics, thought-leaders and policy experts from a variety of social science fields will present research and innovative thinking on the future of Canada. Visions for Canada, 2042 will explore topics such as environmental policy, health, engaging youth, foreign policy, reconciliation, media, and the Canadian political system.

The closing celebration will take place in the Trillium Ballroom of the Shaw Centre, a LEED Gold certified building, located in the heart of Ottawa’s downtown. This event will feature The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change.

When: March 4, 2017
Time: 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Location: Shaw Centre, Trillium Ballroom (55 Colonel By Drive)
Cost: $75 for individual tickets. Table of 8 people $750
