Green Energy Doors Open (GEDO) is a province-wide FREE 3 day showcase of individual, community, and commercial sustainable energy projects. It is organized and spearheaded by the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA). The initiative aims to showcase advancements in the sector, demonstrating that Ontario is already on the path to building a 100% clean and sustainable energy system.

The Ottawa Region is bringing together a strong community of green supporters for this 3 day event and has many planned activities. The Ottawa Region GEDO activities are being organized by SMARTNet Alliance. Visit the official GEDO Ottawa Region website for all the details: www.OttawaGEDO.org.

Energy Showcase and Electric Vehicle Exhibition at Lansdowne Park

Explore innovative green energy solutions and talk to experts about how to incorporate them into your home, office or business. Love the idea of an Electric Vehicle but have more questions than answers? Come explore the EV Exhibition where you can talk to owners and experts!

Throughout the Ottawa Valley, homeowners and businesses known for their sustainable projects or products/services will open their doors to the public for FREE this weekend. Tour homes and buildings that have taken unique approaches to incorporating sustainability into their daily operations. Talk to the owners, building managers and operators about why and how they took on their green projects; get inspired to take on your own!
