Ecology and French immersion for biologists, nature lovers and environmentalists.

We at Immersion Baie-des-Chaleurs are very excited to offer a new program for outdoor education enthusiasts, biologists and environmentalists. If you are passionate about the environment or if you would like to broaden your environmental knowledge and are interested in meeting biologists and learning about community efforst to protect their livelihood, you will be interested in participating in our program. We will take you into the Gaspe Provincial Park and guide you as you explore the fauna and flora.

Dates:
• July 15-16 - Travel from Ottawa (or elsewhere) to the Gaspe Peninsula by train, plane or car.
• July 17-18 - Small group French classes followed by workshops and conferences with biologists and an oceanographer.
• July 19 - Attend a conference by the leader in zero waste, Bea Johnson, and discuss zero waste communities.
• July 20-24 - Small group French classes and workshops.
• July 24-25 - Travel home.

Accommodation: All participants will have host family accommodation with breakfast and the evening meal.

Cost of French lessons, accommodation and transfers to different locations is $ 700 CAD.
Extra cost for airport and train station transfers is $50 each way.
