Environment Haliburton! and the Haliburton Highlands Blue Dot Committee have invited Ralph Pentland, Canadian and international water policy consultant to speak about water, our most valuable and taken-for-granted resource. Pentland has co-authored, with the journalist, Chris Wood, Down the Drain: How we are Failing to Protect our Water Resources.

Location: Stanhope Firefighters' Community Hall, 1095 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands.
Time: 7 pm.
Admission: $10 donation at the door
