Compost Giveaway    Sat Apr 26, 2014, Hamilton, ON

It’s that time of year again! Starting Saturday, April 26, the City of Hamilton’s Public Works Department is hosting compost giveaway events at Public Works locations across the city.

Simply bring your own buckets, shovel, and elbow grease to any of our compost giveaway events. These events run on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., while quantities last.

Saturday April 26, 2014
• 501 Shaver Road, Ancaster
• 161 Studholme Road, Hamilton

Saturday May 3, 2014
• 308 Rymal Road East, Hamilton
• 330 Wentworth Street North, Hamilton

Saturday May 10, 2014
• 1301 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton*
• 349 Jones Road, Stoney Creek

*The Upper Ottawa location also has compost available from April 28 to May 9 (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) while quantities last.

Residents are encouraged to bring a monetary donation to all Saturday events in support of the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton.
