Apiairies and Bees for Communities is teaming up with Lak'ech EcoLodge, Big Sky Permaculture, and Permaculture Calgary to present EcoFusion, an integrated learning experience for creating a more sustainable future at Lak'ech EcoLodge, near Pigeon Lake Alberta. This event has been created in an effort to unite sustainable actions and concepts within Alberta, showcasing the development of new concepts and ideas alternative to the conventional!
EcoFusion is a 3-day workshop retreat taking the concepts of permaculture to heart and applying them to community and personal development. The workshops offered are: Permaculture Design, Urban and Rural Beekeeping, Wild Food Foraging, Earthen Building, and Seed Saving. These courses are all offered at an introductory level and are accessible to everyone. EcoFusion will run from August 6th to 8th and is seeking your support. EcoFusion wishes to be as inclusive as possible and encourage networking between communities. By taking part in EcoFusion, you will be opening the door to new ideas and supporters! This is how you can get involved.
Small
Taking a small step in supporting EcoFusion is easy. Send the Press Release to your contact lists, and market the event on your website, facebook, twitter and/or newsletters. Word of mouth is key at including community members from across the Province. In exchange, your logo will be put on the EcoFusion web page with a link to your website!
Medium
Doing the above, and then deciding to take a more active role, you can offer a guest speaker and/or participant at EcoFusion, taking advantage of the opportunity to share the actions of your enterprise with the weekends guests. Your logo will go on the posters and press release, as well as on the website with link.
Large
On top of the above, there is an opportunity for your enterprise to donate funds to cover the costs of subsidized guests, ensuring that students and low income members are able take advantage of EcoFusion! A $500 donation will cover the costs of 3 applicants. EcoFusion will market your enterprise, and site you as a Major Supporter.
EcoFusion is eager to hear your ideas! Coordinated out of Calgary with a strong group of volunteers, EcoFusion is eager to incorporate everyone! If you have unique skills or interests that you see benefitting this project, please do not hesitate in contacting us!
