Permaculture Design Course (Aug 15 - 28)    Sun Aug 15 to Sat Aug 28, 2010, Winlaw, BC

This is the basic (78 hours minimum) permaculture design course. 13 days. This will be our 9th annual Permaculture Design Course presented in cooperation with Selkirk College in Nelson, BC.

This intensive course combines theory with practical hands-on learning.

Topics include: permaculture design techniques & principles, site analysis, soil fertility, organic gardening techniques, herbs & medicinal plants, fruit & nut trees, water uses and ecological buildings.

The main instructor Gregoire Lamoureux is one of the most experienced permaculture teacher in Canada. He has been teaching and working with permaculture sytems for over 18 years.

The course is being held at Spiral Farm in Winlaw, BC. The farm has been developed using permaculture principles & techniques since 1993.
