Pedalling to Parliament – Pedal for the Planet in Ottawa

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

12:15 - 1 pm: Pedal for the Planet Rally on Parliament Hill

Welcome Pedal for the Planet riders as they converge on Parliament Hill. They're riding from Whitehorse, Victoria and other cities across Canada to call for urgent action on climate change. During the countdown to Copenhagen, let's make sure the climate talks count.

1 - 2 pm: Pedal for the Planet Ride: From Canada to Copenhagen.

Join the search for Canada’s missing climate action plan, starts on Parliament Hill. The ride is a virtual world tour from embassy to embassy, searching for clues for climate action. We will relay our findings to members of the Environment Committee who are debating Bill C-311, the Copenhagen climate bill. Let’s help Members of Parliament design a climate action plan for Canada.

7 pm: Pedal for the Planet Celebration with Marabou at the Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street, Ottawa (doors open at 6:30 pm).
